Hi, I'm Rachel Reynolds.
I’m a Northern California wedding, engagement, elopement and family photographer who loves love, laughter, and the outdoors. I specialize in capturing genuine moments and real connection but with the direction and guidance you need.
I’ve been photographing weddings since 2017 and have had the privilege of documenting hundreds of weddings and sessions along the way.
These days, I’m lucky enough to work alongside my husband, Mark, who brings our couples’ stories to life through films.

Where are you located?
We are based in Pollock Pines, California, halfway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! We regularly capture weddings and sessions throughout Northern California (Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, Napa, Yosemite, the Bay Area, Gold Country, and beyond) at no additional charge. If you’re planning something a little farther away, we’d love to hear about it.
How would you describe your photography style?
Our style is candid, natural, and true to life. We focus on genuine moments and real connection while providing just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
If you’ve ever worried about being awkward in photos, you’re not alone. Most of our clients tell us the same thing!
Do you help with posing?
Yes!
You never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to stand. We’ll guide you throughout the day while keeping things relaxed and natural.
Our goal is to create photos that feel like you, not a series of stiff poses.
Do you offer different editing styles?
No. Every photographer and videographer has a unique artistic style. Our photography is light, airy, natural, and true to life, while our films are heartfelt, emotional, and story-driven. The photos and films you see throughout our website, portfolio, social media, and Vimeo reflect the consistent style you can expect to receive.
We encourage every couple to look through our portfolio and watch several of our films before booking to make sure our style is the right fit for you. To ensure every gallery and film reflects the quality and artistry we’re known for, we don’t offer different editing styles or complete gallery or film re-edits after delivery.
Can we customize a collection?
Absolutely.
Every wedding is different, and we’re happy to customize coverage to fit your plans, priorities, and budget.
If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, just ask.
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner, the better.
Popular dates can book well in advance, especially during spring and fall wedding seasons. If you’re interested in working together, we recommend booking as soon as you have a date.
How do we book?
To officially reserve your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a $1,000 retainer.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding.
Sessions are reserved with a signed contract and payment of the session fee in full.
Everything can be completed through our easy online booking system, and we accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers for your convenience.
How long does it take to receive our photos and films?
Wedding and session galleries are delivered within 2–4 weeks.
Wedding films are delivered within 8–10 weeks.
